The Latona shape was made by Taylor, Smith & Taylor around 1910. While it was mainly a dinnerware shape, many pieces (namely the covered jugs and tumblers) were decorated specialties treatments.
The flatware is slightly scalloped with a fine embossed line just inside the edge. The hollowware is round and very similar to the Verona shape which was introduced several years after Latona.
Expect to find pieces with one of at least two different TST-Latona backstamps and without a date code.
