Dutch Petit Point
[DSN:UNK, NS:SAL]
This decal was first used by the Salem China Company of Salem Ohio on their Bonjour and Tricorne shapes in the mid-1930s. It most likely was used on other Salem shapes of the 1930s.
In the 1940s, decorating firms used the decal. Pacific China applied it to Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose (and sometimes Marigold) blanks in the mid 1940s. Such pieces often have a heavy gold encrusted rim.
