Studio
[DSN:UNK, NS:FAC]
- First used on Epicure white without trim in 1956
- There were two combinations: gold with black and turquoise with black
A press release from the January 1956 Pittsburgh trade show mentions Stuido on Epicure. It reads in part:
One of Laughlin's new features will be a special set combination designed for buffet, terrace, and casual dining. It will be offered on the Epicure shape, which formerly was available only in four color glaze combinations.
The new pattern is called "Studio." It is in a contemporary decorative treatment - a looped, scrolled design in a new combination of rich old gold and black. It also may be available in turquoise and black. The set is a 35-piece combination.
