Rooster and Hen

Rooster and Hen was used by the Eastern China Company of New York. They were china decorators and would often apply decals and gold decorations to factory seconds from larger firms such as Homer Laughlin, Hall China, and several others. There is no evidence HLC ever used this decal themselves.
The Steubenville Pottery Company had an almost identical decal for their line called Family Affiar. Steubenville's version has the Rooster and Hen with baby chicks. Eastern China's has the hen on a nest.
The examples shown below were decorated at Eastern China using Homer Laughlin blanks.
