American Chintz
[DSN:UNK, NS:DN]
- The decals for this pattern were used in two different ways:
- W-338: for F. W. Woolworth's, an all over pattern produced in 1938 using Wells plates and platters, Empress teacup and bowls, and three pieces designed specifically for this pattern: the covered sugar, creamer, and sauceboat. This line was made for roughly one year.
- KK-350: After W-338 was discontinued, the left over decal sheets were cut up into smaller sprigs and applied to Kitchen Kraft and given red trim. Firestone carried KK-350 in their premium catalogs of the 1940s and offered the mixing bowls, covered casserole, and pie plate.
