In the late 1930s and early 1940s, the Homer Laughlin China Company made "toy tea sets" using the following pieces from Swing Eggshell:
- Demitasse coffee pot
- Demitasse cups
- Demitasse saucers
- Demitasse open sugar
- Demitasse creamer
- 6 ¼" plates
The advertisement below comes from a Montgomery Ward's 1943 catalog. Letter A shows a toy tea set by Homer Laughlin using Swing with pastel rims of green, yellow, pink, and blue. Letters B and C were made up of Deanna shape demitasse pieces by the Edwin M. Knowles China Company.
Homer Laughlin made toy tea sets previously using other shapes such as Cable and Wells.
Expect to find both Swing (HLC) and Deanna (EMK) toy tea sets with other decals not shown here.
