The three-pint Fiesta® carafe was part of the original assortment in January 1936. It was made in the first six colors: red, blue, old ivory, (light) green, yellow, and turquoise. At least two examples are known to exist in the experimental glaze, rose ebony.
Vintage Fiesta® carafes can be found with three distinct markings:
- HLC - USA, no rings
- HLC - USA, with rings
- HLC logo and Made in USA

On January 8, 1996, a new carafe was modeled and added to the contemporary line. The new carafe was made with the following changes:
- The new version has no lid, and the opening is bigger
- The foot from the vintage design was not used
- A set of rings was added below the neck
- A new marking was made, this time with a capital F
Contemporary Fiesta® carafes were made in all glazes except slate, claret, and daffodil. Examples in lilac and chocolate exist, but they are rare.
