Fiesta® Canisters and Jam Jars
Canisters, first style

Fiesta® canisters were developed in the summer of 2003 and were made at Hall China in East Liverpool, Ohio. They first appeared in Betty Crocker's fall 2004 catalog and could be purchased as single color three-piece sets or individually. Lids were fitted with a rubber gasket, which formed a tight seal with the bases.

In the Betty Crocker holiday 2005 catalog, the largest canister (without its lid) was offered as an extra-large tool crock.

Canisters, chevron style

The lids for the first style canisters and chevron style are interchangeable. The medium canister base was also offered as a tool crock.

Cat and Dog Treat Jars

The cat and dog treat jars were made for a short time from 2018 to 2021.

The cat treat jar uses the small canister base and a lid with a finial in the shape of a cat's head. The dog treat jar uses the medium canister base and has a dog bone on its lid. The lids could be used with the first version canisters or the chevron style.

Jam Jar, Mini Canister

The jam jar was modeled in October 2008. After undergoing some minor revisions to both the lid and the base in 2009, it was released into production and introduced in 2010.

In the 2024 factory cut sheet, it was renamed the mini canister. Unlike the other canisters, it does not have a rubber gasket.

The jam jar holds 13 ounces.

Other Canisters

Bloomingdales offered a "Fiesta" three-piece canister set in their 1997 catalog, however, they were not made by the factory.

In the vintage Fiesta® Kitchen Kraft line made from 1938 until the early 1940s, there were three sizes of round covered jars made in red, blue, green, and yellow.
