In 1912, the Homer Laughlin China Company published a twenty-four page, 9" x 6" brochure titled, The China Book. It contained details and photos about the factory, the town of Newell, the bridge, manufacturing techniques, and even Laurel Hollow Park. Every other page showcased patterns on Hudson and the newest shape at the time, Genesee.
The pottery ran a series of advertisements in several women's magazines encouraging the reader to write in for a free copy. Below is one of those ads along with a complete copy of The China Book.
