The Forecast shape was first produced by the Edwin M. Knowles China Company in late 1956. It was then introduced at the Pittsburgh Pottery & Glass Show in January 1957.
Forecast is made up of coupe shape flatware. The hollowware has a distinctive "stretched" look.
The following ten images come from the research files of author Jo Cunningham. They feature patterns on the Forecast shape from a black and white Knowles promotional catalog.
